Dr. Jerry Rankin

                                           Interim Pastor

We are pleased to have serving as our Interim Pastor, effective November 10, 2019, Dr. Jerry Rankin.   While Dr. Rankin has retired as the Executive Director of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, he is still busy in his retirement teaching a Mississippi College and blessing churches by preaching and serving in interim positions.  He has pastored churches, served on the mission field and written numerous books.  He and his wife Bobbye live in Clinton, Mississippi.



 Rev. Charlie Harris, Jr.                                                                                                                                  Church Planting Missionary to Toronto Canada


 Bro. Charlie served as Pastor from February, 2015 to November 3, 2019. During a study of Experiencing God, Charlie and Lesley felt called to become church planting missionaries in Canada.  Through a series of confirmations from God, they stepped out on faith and left for Toronto, Canada on November 9, 2019.  Trinity is serving as their Sending Church, so we will remain in contact with and pray for them through this journey.




Collin Brumfield                                                                                                                                                        Minister of Music/Student Minister





                                                                                                                                                                                                    Bro. Collin was called as Minister of Music/Student Minister on May 7, 2017. He is currently a Junior at Mississippi College pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Christian Studies. He desires a worship experience that shares the love of Christ with all who attend, and to enrich the lives of students.

Jeanie began service at Trinity on April 16, 1989.  She has served in many capacities in the church, association, and in the state and has a passion to see children and adults understand and grow in God’s Word and be able to personally apply it to their lives.  Jeanie graduated from Mississippi College in 1981 with a BA in Psychology and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1984 with a Masters in Religious Education.




 Kathy Emerson                                                                                                                                                Financial Assistant





                                                                                                                                                                                                  Kathy joined the staff as Financial Assistant in 2011.  She says this is the most rewarding job she has ever had.  She enjoys her family which includes two cats and a husband.  She also works as an insurance clerk at Dr. Jordan Crocker’s office.  She serves at Trinity on Tuesdays.
